PARCOURS 3: Tourist in your Own City
PARCOURS is a collaboration between four North-Brussels based organizations: Compilothèque, Eléphant, Void*ptr en HOTELbich.
PARCOURS 3 will have an overarching theme: “Tourist in your own city”, which will be refined also during the next parcours organized at the end of November and the beginning of January. With psycho-geographical, photographical, political, joyful and simply touristic concepts this PARCOURS aims to give new meanings to the streets of Schaerbeek.
PARCOURS is free of charge, you can join in at any time. Food and drinks will be sold at reasonable prices. Bring your digital photo camera!
2.00pm void*ptr ‘Tourist Office’ (Avenue Princesse Elisabethlaan 46, 1030 Brussels)
- Photo-session in postcard style by the team of L’Eléphant.
- Info-Point for PARCOURS 3 .
- Little expo of alternative maps of Brussels.
4.00pm Eléphant ‘Salon de Thé’ (Rue Thiéfrystraat 53, 1030 Brussels)
- Coffee and Hot Chocolade with a twist by the team of HOTELbich.
- Introduction for the following psycho-geographical ‘Excursion’.
6.30pm Compilothèque ‘Museum visit’ (Quai des Péniches/Akenkaai 50, 1000 Brussels)
- Mapping action by the teamer of void*ptr.
- Collection of the psycho-geographical stories, images and impressions.
- Projection of an historical event.
8.00pm HOTELbich ‘Table d’Hôtes’ (Rue Gallaitstraat 80, 1030 Brussels)
- Pick-Up Orkestra performs with portable record players a review of Brussels patrimony
- Dinner with a twist: the team of la Compilothèque prepares Dubble-Belgian tastes: soupe de chicons et chorizo . moules sauce chasseur et stoemp-coriandre . tiramisu au spéculoos
